The concept
For April Fools’ Day 2026, we had a little fun at Charlie Tango Games by inventing a brand new law… the very serious (or almost) LAW 5653. Its goal? To tackle a universal problem: texts sent a little too quickly… that you regret the next morning.
You know the type. A message to your ex after 9 p.m. A slightly too bold “we should talk…” Or worse.
In our April Fools’ scenario, your phone suddenly became smarter than you. It would lock before you could send a message deemed… emotionally risky. But of course, we couldn’t stop there.
The game (this part is real)
Because behind every good April Fools’ joke, there’s a twist… and ours is playable. To unlock your phone in our fictional world, you had to pass an attention test called “Trop vite su’l piton.” The concept is simple:
👉 read the instructions
👉 tap… or don’t tap
👉 and most importantly… don’t make a mistake
It sounds easy. But it’s full of little traps that will make you smile… and maybe get a bit frustrated (before trying again). And that’s exactly where the fun is for us: turning an idea into a playful experience that truly grabs your attention.
The reactions (and a few bruised egos)
Let’s be honest, this April Fools’ joke made us laugh… but it made you laugh too. The post generated hundreds of impressions and a flood of comments, including some of our favourites:
💬 “Best April Fools’ I’ve seen so far 😂 I got 20 out of 20!!!!”
💬 “6 out of 20!?! I demand a recount!!”

Let’s just say some people were very confident… until they took the test. And now? Even though Law 5653 was (unfortunately?) fictional, the game is very real. And it’s still available. Whether you want to test your reflexes, challenge your coworkers, or just have a quick two minute break… we dare you to reach level 20.
