Our experience in New Brunswick: when a conversation becomes an opportunity

Recently, we took part in the Québec–New Brunswick webinar: developing new interprovincial markets, organized by the Conseil du patronat du Québec. It was a great opportunity for us to step back and reflect on our export experience.

The webinar also highlighted initiatives like Les Rendez vous Acadie–Québec, an event we truly enjoy that encourages connections between organizations from Québec and Acadia. It creates a setting where conversations flow more easily… and where new collaborations can take shape.

A naturally evolving expansion

Since 2024, we have been rolling out our Quests to Go across New Brunswick. Looking back, the process unfolded quite naturally.

More importantly, we quickly realized we had arrived at the right time.

Several organizations told us they were looking for interactive activities for their visitors, but with very real constraints: limited staff to operate them, a need for simplicity, and budgets to manage.

The fact that our experiences are self guided, easy to implement, and accessible quickly became a strong anchor in our discussions.

From the outset, there was a clear alignment: a shared desire to create engaging, autonomous experiences that are deeply rooted in their environment.

During the webinar, Dominique, our founder and Creative Director, revisited the early stages of this journey. The beginnings, the learnings about the local landscape, but above all, the meetings and how quickly certain opportunities came together.

A meeting that changes everything

As is often the case, it all starts with a meeting.

In this case, a conversation with a local partner during Les Rendez vous Acadie–Québec perfectly captures what set things in motion:

“I had a challenge, and they had a solution for me, real expertise on their side. Charlie Tango won me over with their Quests to Go…”

— Martin Albert, General Manager, Villégiature Deux Rivières

This kind of collaboration brings us back to something quite simple: there is no need to reinvent the wheel, just to truly listen to what the community needs.

When a solution integrates easily on the ground, respects operational realities, and remains accessible, projects move forward naturally.

Taking part in this webinar was also an opportunity to share these learnings with other organizations exploring new markets. It was a reminder that from one region to another, some realities are more similar than we might think.

In the end, developing new markets is not only about growth.

It is, above all, about connections, adaptation… and timing.

We will be at the next Rendez vous Acadie–Québec in May 2026, not just as participants, but as partners.

And guess how? By getting participants to play, of course 🙂

We hope to see you there!
