The story behind the experience

We started 2023 with great news: Charlie Tango has been chosen to be part of the 2023 cohort of the Creative Cabinet of Montreal. This is an entrepreneurial path that helps creative and cultural organizations develop new markets internationally.
As part of this program, we were fortunate to be put in touch with Telefilm Canada, which had the mandate to organize the Canada House programming at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. After a brief discussion, the idea of ​​presenting for the first time an official game at the house of Canada quickly appealed to the organizers. “Is it Canadian?” was therefore created to test visitors' knowledge of the provenance of inventions, actors, unusual dishes, characters and many others.
