Case study
SAQuiz
The story behind the experience
The SAQ team wanted to introduce the general public, and more specifically Generation Z, to all the functionalities offered by the Inspire card. This project was part of the SAQ’s activation at various festivals this summer. The Cri agence team created an itinerary integrating physical terminals offering access to a mobile application and gamifying the experience for festival-goers.
Cri agence commissioned us to create the game and application portion of their concept!
We love this collaboration, which brings together the strengths and expertise of our respective teams!
Project background and mandate:
Target audience : General public, with a special focus on Generation Z
Project goals
- Offer festival-goers a fun game at different terminals at each festival.
- Present the features and benefits of the Inspire card.
The concept : SAQuiz
To achieve these goals, we designed the SAQuiz, a captivating interactive game that lets festival-goers have a laugh and explore the features of the Inspire card.
The SAQuiz is divided into 3 games, each comprising 7 questions. Participants have 15 seconds to answer each question, adding an element of challenge and excitement to the game. The more correct answers they get, the more chance they have of winning bonus points!
SAQuiz launches at the Festival d’Été de Québec, and will continue to tour festivals across Quebec!

Game example :
Yes my love! Text messaging can sometimes be tricky.
Using emojis, guess which drink it is.
By taking the quiz, festival-goers can enter for a chance to win one of 9 prizes of 50,000 bonus points, valued at $50, or the grand prize of 250,000 bonus points, valued at $250.
